The Summer 2026 Internship program at Vevo is a paid opportunity designed for qualified students to gain hands-on experience while learning about the media and entertainment industry. We are seeking a Finance & Accounting Intern to join our team of talented finance professionals who are working to ensure Vevo's business operates efficiently and strategically, with a strong focus on maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our financial reporting. We are seeking a highly motivated Finance & Accounting Intern to actively contribute to our team of dedicated finance professionals.


This role reports to the Senior Director of Finance and Accounting. This dynamic internship offers a deep dive into corporate finance within the media and entertainment sector. You will move beyond academic theory to manage the full transaction lifecycle, from maintaining vendor master files and processing accounts payable to executing meticulous month-end closures. Acting as a "financial detective," you will collaborate cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies, gaining a comprehensive 360-degree view of how financial data drives the strategic operations of a global brand like Vevo..

As a member of this team you will:
  • Support month-end close activities, including assisting with journal entries and financial statement preparation.
  • Process accounts payable, manage vendor queries, and ensure accurate maintenance of vendor files and payment records.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
  • Utilize accounting software for account review and analysis. Assist with the coordination and provision of documentation for external audits.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards Aid in the mailing of necessary tax documents and forms.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration with finance and business teams to resolve discrepancies and support reporting needs.
  • Assist team members with various ad hoc requests as needed.

Requirements:
  • Rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
  • Desire to pursue a career in Accounting, Business, or Finance
  • Ability to work 30 hours per week from June 8th – July 31, 2026.

The pay range for this position is $20 per hour. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Transparency Law.


This part-time, hybrid position requires interns to work on-site at least three times per  week.
