About the Role

This internship will work 32 hours per week, beginning in early June and run 8 weeks through early August. The Intern will work onsite at our ITA Group Collective office in Atlanta, Georgia

Position Description:

Are you interested in seeing how live events come together behind the scenes? Are you organized, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment? If so, you may enjoy partnering with ITA Group’s Event Production team as an Event Management Intern. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of event production—from planning and preparation to live execution and post-event wrap-up. You’ll work closely with experienced event professionals, supporting both administrative and onsite production needs while developing practical, real-world skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with event and production planning and preparation activities
  • Supporting schedules, checklists, event and production documents
  • Helping organize equipment, supplies, and event materials
  • Providing onsite support for registration, presenters, or logistics as needed
  • Observing and supporting the events and production teams during live events
  • Communicating with internal team members and external vendors

Position Requirements:

  • Entering your senior year or recently graduated, majoring in Hospitality, Marketing, Management, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Demonstrated communication and effective task management skills (educational examples accepted)
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an organized manner
  • Ability to work the necessary hours to complete projects and meet deadlines
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to think and act independently
  • Excellent writing, grammatical, and proofreading skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
