What you’ll do as a Tech Sneak Peek Week Participant:  

As a Tech Sneak Peek Week participant from August 17th - 21st, 2026, you’ll dive into the world of technology and market-making, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced and innovative environment. Throughout the week, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with various engineering teams to gain an in-depth understanding of Akuna’s systems architecture. Does using cutting-edge technology while working on high performance/low latency systems sound like fun? Would you like to work alongside our trading and software teams to design and implement elegant solutions to complex and interesting problems? If your answer is yes, Sneak Peek Week is right for you!

 Qualities that make great candidates:  

• Proficient in modern C++ programming 
• Graduating between December 2026 – June 2027
• Pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in a technical field – Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related/equivalent field  
• Able to attend the program in person at Akuna’s Chicago headquarters (August 17 - 21) 
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to quickly solve nuanced technical problems and to effectively verify those solutions 
• Passion for innovation and building systems from the ground up 
• Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment 
• Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently 
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required on the first day of employment, including F-1 students using OPT or STEM

In accordance with Illinois Equal Pay Act, the total pay for this one-week program is $2,250. The total pay herein was determined in good faith by Akuna Capital LLC.
