About the Role

Position Summary:

We are seeking a human resources intern that will support the HR department in carrying out a variety of administrative, operational, and project-based tasks. This role provides hands on experience in key HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and HR data management. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepare onboarding materials and orientation packets.
  • Help coordinate new hire orientations and training sessions.
  • Ensure completion of new hire paperwork and accuracy of employee files.
  • Maintain HR databases and employee records with confidentiality.
  • Assist with compliance tasks (I‑9s, audits, document retention).
  • Support payroll and benefits administration tasks as assigned.
  • Prepare and design HR reports and metrics.
  • Help plan employee events, recognition programs, and engagement surveys.
  • Participate in culture-building initiatives and HR improvement projects.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices, trends, and policies.
  • Support HR team with HRIS implementation actions.
  • Help with performance management cycles and training coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or related fields.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS is a plus.
     

Note: Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a permanent basis post-graduation.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
