Job Title: Intern in Organic Synthesis in Fragrance Industry
Work Location: Meyrin or La Plaine, Geneva, Switzerland
Internship 6 months from September 2026 
Key Responsibilities: 
•    Ability to work in the industrial chemical lab. 
•    Monitor processes, analyze reaction intermediates and products using standard analytical techniques GC, HPLC, NMR. 
•    Isolate and purify intermediates and final products using methods such as extraction, distillation, crystallization, and chromatography. 
•    Maintain laboratory equipment and set up new facilities. 
•    Record detailed experimental data in an electronic laboratory notebook. 
•    Follow SHE rules and good laboratory practices. 
Profile/Requirement :
•    Student majoring in Master of Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. 
•    Good knowledge of organic chemistry and synthesis (reaction set-up, work-up, chromatography, distillations, crystallization).
•    Basic knowledge of analytical tools and interpretation for structure elucidation (NMR, MS, GC).
•    Capable of working both under direct supervision and independently, with strong communication  skills.
•    Rigorous, with attention to detail and respect for good laboratory practices and SHE rules. 
•    Possess an interest in working in a chemical lab and in learning new skills.
•    Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and chemistry-specific software. 
•    Fluent in French and/or English.
