The trainee will assist in promoting Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) awareness through programs and support the coordination of safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance. Responsibilities also include assisting with basic risk assessments, reviewing chemical risk assessments, and supporting incident investigations and documentation.

About the Role

Mission Details

  • Assist in promoting HSE awareness among employees through health and safety programs and campaigns.
  • Support the coordination of scheduled safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
  • Assist in basic risk assessment activities for operational tasks and projects under supervision.
  • Support the review of Chemical Health Risk Assessments (CHRA) for new chemicals prior to usage.
  • Assist in incident and accident investigations by preparing reports and documentation.
  • Support the maintenance of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) management system.
  • Assist in coordinating HSE-related training sessions and maintaining training records.
  • Support Emergency Response Team (ERT) activities, drills, and documentation.
  • Assist in data collection and basic analysis for Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) programs.
  • Support documentation and coordination activities related to Management of Change (MOC).
  • Assist in gas testing activities for confined space entry and hot work, under supervision.

Required Profile

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of HSE principles is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn, proactive, and responsible attitude.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to commit to the internship duration as required.
