About the Role

Title: Program Management Intern

Location: Pascagoula, MS

Position Overview: Bollinger is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Program Management Intern for a full-time, on-site summer internship at our Pascagoula facility. This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing a degree in STEM, or a related field, who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a professional, real-world environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating subcontractor support to engineering and production. 
  • Support the management of BMS and subcontractor schedules. 
  • Review subcontracts to determine if payment milestones have been met for subcontractors. 
  • Study business process flow and sequence of operations to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Maintain routine records and manage databases, ensuring accurate data input and reporting.
  • Assist in preparing reports, research materials, and presentations.
  • Shadow multiple office positions and gain experience in a variety of tasks related to industrial engineering and operations.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, environmental policies, and quality system principles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently a enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in STEM or related field
  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in design, allowing students to develop industry-relevant skills, expand their professional network, and contribute meaningfully to Bollinger’s Engineering department.
