About the Role

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Broadcast Associate to join our Red Sox production team for the Summer Semester of 2026! 


This is an onsite internship requiring about 20-30 hours per week, paying $15/hour.


This is a great opportunity for a rising junior, senior year, or graduate level college student looking to gain experience in a fast-paced work environment learning from our experienced team. This is a paid position that will provide a variety of production support to NESN’s remote and studio pregame/postgame teams at Fenway Park and our Watertown, MA studios, w/reimbursement up to $100/month for using MBTA as primary mode of transportation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist production team in the truck at Fenway Park for home games and at NESN studios for road games. 
  • Provide stats and storyline research, pitch graphic and segment ideas
  • Learn to operate score bug for select games
  • Learn to stage manage, execute sales reads with talent
  • Support photographers on the field and around Fenway Park
  • Research industry trends and other broadcasts
  • Additional studio support, as needed
  • 20-30 paid hours per week (nights, weekends and some holidays)


Qualifications:

  • Knowledge about and interest in the game of baseball 
  • Interest in television production and communications, some experience is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills; must be detail oriented
  • Ability to work in fast paced, time sensitive, and professional environment
