About the Role

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic intern to join us for the Spring/Summer 2026 semester! This is a great opportunity for current college students looking to gain experience in a fast-paced work environment learning from our experienced team.


Reporting directly to the Marketing Specialist, the Marketing Intern will assist with marketing strategy and execution for the network. This role is best fit for someone who is a self-starter and enjoys marrying creativity and data to make effective decisions.


This is an onsite internship in Watertown, MA, paying $15/hour.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Draft promotional copy for TV and digital activations
  • Assist with execution of sales promotions, contests, and sweepstakes
  • Support with marketing and PR research and campaign tracking
  • Manage organization and distribution of NESN branded merchandise for various teams/events
  • Monitor performance marketing trends and support ad-hoc campaign initiatives
  • Update and help traffic creative assets for organic and paid Marketing efforts
  • Ideate and execute social media marketing concepts
  • Assist the Customer Care lead on drafting and responding to fan inquiries
  • Assist the Sales, Marketing, and Digital departments in planning, scheduling, and executing client and fan events
  • Successfully complete other related assignments and tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled as a student in a college or university. Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or other related major is preferred
  • Marketing/Advertising and sports knowledge
  • Ability to be in the office up to 4 days a week
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Self-starter
