Intern-Operations for our Burlington, NJ location**

SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Are you looking for the opportunity to gain real-world experience working with expert Operations Leaders and understanding operations and processes within a Distribution Center. You will be exposed to wholesale/omni-channel distribution, transportation, and e-commerce fulfillment, among a variety of other pieces of our business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Work with leaders to understand reporting tools

· Capacity planning

· Attend and participate in meetings to review daily production and key performance indicators (KPIs)

· Become familiar with labor planning and utilization

· Learn how to develop KPIs and associated reporting

· Customer service-level reporting

· Identify sources of data and processes to obtain data

· Document processes/procedures and support in training and implementation of the reporting processes

· Report progress on efforts to Management

· Assist in driving the improvement of processes and systems, contributing to programs with long-term benefits for the organization

· Understanding importance of culture and safety

· Familiarization with employee engagement

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree or anticipated graduation date within 1 year

· Knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel

· Ability to quickly learn new systems or software

· Ability to manipulate large amounts of data into meaningful information

· Strong communication skills, verbal and written

· Self-driven, motivated, and organized

Pay Range:             

$28.00 per hour     

 

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.  The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
