About the Role

Web Development Intern 

We are seeking a motivated Web Development Intern to support our web development team in building, maintaining, and enhancing our Drupal-based e-commerce store. This internship is ideal for students or early-career developers who want hands-on experience with Drupal, PHP, and modern web development practices in a real-world environment.


You have already accomplished (required):

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in: Computer Science, Web Development, Information Systems, or related field
  • Basic understanding of: PHP or similar C Type language, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with CMS concepts (Drupal preferred)
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

You may have already accomplished (preferred):

  • Prior experience with Drupal (academic, personal, or internship projects)
  • Familiarity with: Twig templating, MySQL / MariaDB, REST APIs, Composer
  • Basic knowledge of: Linux environments, Docker or local dev tools (Lando, DDEV)

Addendum:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining Drupal website (Drupal 9/10)
  • Create and modify content types, views, blocks, and menus
  • Support theme development using Twig, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Assist with module configuration and site administration
  • Help troubleshoot and debug issues across environments
  • Participate in code reviews and follow Drupal best practices
  • Work with designers, project managers, and senior developers
  • Assist with site updates, content migrations, and deployments
  • Document changes and contribute to internal technical documentation
