The Kroll Konstruction Summer Internship Program gives students hands-on experience working on real commercial construction projects. Interns gain exposure to field operations, project management, and estimating while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

Internship Overview


The Kroll Konstruction Internship Program is designed to provide exposure to multiple areas of construction operations. Interns may rotate through key functions such as:

  • Field Operations
  • Project Management
  • Estimating
  • Project Coordination

Interns will spend time both on job sites and supporting project teams, gaining an understanding of the full project lifecycle.

Requirements

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers and superintendents with daily project coordination
  • Support job-site documentation including daily reports, RFIs, and submittals
  • Participate in site walks and observe construction progress
  • Assist with project scheduling and tracking project milestones
  • Support estimating teams with quantity takeoffs and bid preparation
  • Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents
  • Attend project meetings and learn how teams coordinate with subcontractors
  • Present a summary of your internship experience at the end of the program

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Interest in commercial construction and project delivery
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, RedTeam, etc.) is a plus
  • Willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced project environment
