About the Role
Electrical Engineering Intern (PCB Design)

Focus: System Hardware

What You’ll Solve

You will tackle the hardware bottleneck of the Thunderbird PCB project. Instead of letting critical board designs sit on the back burner, you will be the primary engine moving schematics into physical reality, ensuring our hardware development keeps pace with our silicon milestones.

What You’ll Deliver

High-quality schematic captures and PCB layouts for the Thunderbird. You will produce production-ready designs that include optimized power supply stages and high-speed digital routing, all while maintaining rigorous documentation through reading and implementing complex datasheets.

What You’ll Learn

You will walk away with a professional-grade understanding of High-Speed Digital Design and Power Supply Layout. You’ll master best practices for signal integrity, simulation, and the nuances of component selection that only come from shipping real-world hardware.

What You Bring

  • Major: Electrical Engineering.
  • Technical Edge: Some experience with schematic capture and PCB layout software is preferred, but a massive appetite for hardware design is a must.
  • Mindset: A detail-oriented approach to reading datasheets and a drive to understand the "why" behind layout constraints.
