Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Mechanical Engineering Intern located in our Milpitas, CA site.

Reporting to the Director, Operations Engineering, the Intern will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Assist Engineering Team with time studies, reviewing documentation, drawings and CAD
  • Monitor Engineering DOE (Design Of Experiment) projects
  • Collaborate with Engineering Team with writing reports and reporting findings to team
  • Attend team meetings and support project work as needed

Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

  • Junior/Senior student pursuing Mechanical/Industrial Engineering major
  • CAD tools (Solidworks) experience
  • Lean/Six Sigma helpful
  • Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
  • Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
  • Previous internship experience a plus!

Internship Program Requirements:

  • Available to start on May 26th and work 40 hours/week (on-site) for a 10-12 week Summer term assignment
  • Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
Pay Range (Applicable to California)

$19.13 USD - $26.31 USD Hourly
