About the Role

2026 Summer Intern

 

Location:

This internship role is scheduled to be flexible. Please be prepared to spend part of your time working remotely and part of your time working from a Kaiser Permanente regional office. Finalists MUST reside in one of the following states to be eligible for employment with Kaiser Permanente: CA, OR, WA, HI, CO, GA, MD, VA, CT, DC, or IL.

 

Department Details:

Enterprise testing services ensures quality of software applications before they are deployed to production in KP through functional testing, performance testing, API testing of KP applications across the enterprise. Within testing, there are many types of testing services offered.  They are executed on CICD pipeline and validated. All test execution artifacts are captured through Power BI metrics. AI tools are leveraged for increasing the speed of testing.

 

Internship Projects:

Intern will be supporting the following items

AI - Explore AI agent capabilities:

Run API calls to create data

Run DB checks

Check Application Status

Run Reports (PBI/QTest)

Build reports in Power BI

GitHubActions enhancements: Examples of some the enhancements are listed below.

Server status

Application state (AP/DB)

Shared library dependencies

Qtest shared libraries

Documentation Updates

  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
