Role Overview:

Join Maxis as a Project Support Intern, where you will gain hands-on experience supporting retail development and project coordination initiatives. This role offers exposure to data management, procurement processes, store design coordination, and retail experience planning, while working closely with internal teams to support the development and maintenance of Maxis retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Database Management
Assist in maintaining and updating project databases to ensure accurate and well-organised records.
Support the team in tracking relevant information for ongoing retail projects.

2. Procurement & Tender Support
Support the team with tender-related processes and follow up with procurement on documentation and progress.
Assist in coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement workflows.

3. Retail Experience Ideation
Participate in retail experience brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to enhance the in-store customer journey.
Support the team in developing concepts that improve store engagement and experience.

4. Drawing Submission Coordination
Assist in following up on store design drawing submissions and documentation.
Support coordination with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely project progress.

5. Store Aesthetics Monitoring
Assist in monitoring store aesthetics to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and retail design standards.
Provide feedback and support initiatives to maintain a consistent and engaging store environment.

Value-Added Project

Through these responsibilities, the intern will gain practical experience in data management, procurement processes, project coordination, and visual merchandising. The role provides valuable exposure to real retail development workflows, while allowing the intern to develop critical thinking skills and contribute meaningfully to retail operations and strategic initiatives.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

Currently pursuing or holding a Diploma in Interior Design, Quantity Surveying (QS), or a related design field
