What awaits you?

  • You will support the development and evaluation of learning-based methods for map-based visual localization in autonomous driving.
  • Furthermore, you help review state-of-the-art visual localization techniques and analyze the impact of diverse map components and input modalities.
  • In addition, you contribute your research findings directly to the advancement of our map products.
  • Moreover, you drive your project with regular feedback from your mentor and receive dedicated support from our expert team.

 

What should you bring along?

  • Studies in computer science, artificial intelligence, robotics, or a related technical field (Master's program).
  • Knowledge in computer vision and deep learning, familiar with modern vision transformers and scene representations.
  • High proficiency in programming and debugging with Python, PyTorch, and OpenCV.
  • Prior project experience in computer vision or autonomous driving perception algorithms is a plus.
  • Business-fluent English skills; German proficiency is a plus.
