Where the Chemistry Happens… 
 

BASF's Grow@BASF Programs  were created to provide highly motivated, mobile-minded current university students an opportunity to enhance their professional skills through a variety of diverse learning experiences. This internship allows interns to contribute to real-world business needs, while exploring career options and developing technical and professional decision-making skills. Interns will have the opportunity to assess their capabilities, skills, and interests and gain valuable exposure to BASF's culture, values, and decision-makers. 

Program Summary:   

This program also offers undergraduate students the ability to apply their education and background to challenging assignments to build both technical and professional skills. 

  • As a highly motivated undergraduate student, you will participate in a 12-week internship working alongside a mentor to aid our field agronomic teams. 
  • Your ability to be mobile is critical as assignment can be located in a variety of locations throughout the U.S. including at one of our research farms.
     
  • Localized project/work assignment which may include a variety of trials; seed treatment, fungicide and herbicide trials with growers. Collect supporting data, analyze and trouble shoot data and provide feedback. Identify process improvements, test, troubleshoot and provide solutions.
  •  Take part in and help set up customer tours and presentations.
     
  • All interns will be assessed throughout the summer for either a returning internship offer, or a full time offer for one of our Professional Development rotational program.
