What will you be doing?
Action Target is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to support the implementation of a new Advanced Planning System. This role will focus heavily on data entry, process documentation, and helping standardize manufacturing workflows. The intern will work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate production data and clearly documented manufacturing processes.
This is a temporary internship expected to last approximately six months. The position is designed to average around 40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate school schedules when needed.
Some of your day-to-day tasks?
- Perform large-scale data entry related to manufacturing operations and production planning.
- Assist with implementation of the company’s new Advanced Planning System.
- Document and write manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Review and organize existing production data for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, production planners, and operations teams.
- Support process improvement initiatives and system standardization efforts.
- Assist with other engineering or operations projects as assigned.
What do you need to be able to do?
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Clear technical writing and documentation skills.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and data management tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Schedule
- Temporary internship lasting approximately six months.
- Targeting an average of 40 hours per week.
- Flexible scheduling available to accommodate academic commitments.
