PURPOSE

The Accounting Youth Apprentice is responsible for learning and applying their technical skills and working as part of a team carrying out tasks under close coaching and supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & LEARNING COMPETENCIES

  • Navigate company technology systems.
  • Maintain and update client data accurately and confidentially.
  • Provide administrative support including document preparation and file organization.
  • Assist with client retention activities.
  • Prepare client-ready documents.
  • Support simple client service requests under supervision.
  • Follow internal policies and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Bookkeeping, payroll, Bill Pay for the Thrive Client base.
  • Prepare live and after-the-fact payrolls.
