About the Role

Description

We are currently searching for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our business office as an Accounting Intern for the Summer of 2026. As an Intern, you will provide administrative support to the Accounting department. This is an exciting, paid Internship providing an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge of business office operations. The position will work 20 hours per week.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Accounts Receivable
  • Provide general ledger accounting support
  • Assist with maintenance of accounts in QuickBooks Online
  • Assist with the transition of fiscal year-end
  • Assist with audit-related preparation and research as required
  • Assist with inventory count and restocking textbooks for the upcoming school year
  • Support the HR Director on basic tasks within the HR system
  • Perform various administrative tasks such as scanning and filing as needed


Requirements

  • Undergraduate student preferred
  • Possess great communication skills
  • Has a positive and energetic mindset
  • A self-starter who is accountable and able to effectively work in an office environment
  • Exhibits a high degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
