About the Role

Wealth Management Operations Intern

Location: Lenexa, KS

About the Internship

Modern Wealth Management is seeking an intern to support the Lenexa office with client data management and financial planning preparation. This internship is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Finance, Economics, or Business who want exposure to wealth management operations and financial planning tools.

The role will focus on improving client data accuracy while supporting relationship managers and client service teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with a Salesforce client data update project, reviewing beneficiary and account information to ensure data accuracy

  • Learn how CRM and planning systems are used to manage client households

  • Support internal data organization and operational workflow

When not working on the primary project, the intern may also:

  • Assist Relationship Managers and Client Service Representatives with light administrative tasks

  • Help maintain accurate client records across systems

  • Shadow advisory meetings

What We’re Looking For

  • Current undergraduate student pursuing Finance, Economics, Business, or related field

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Interest in financial planning and wealth management

  • Ability to learn multiple software systems

  • Professional and reliable
