About the Role

Financial Data & Platform Operations Intern

About the Internship

Modern Wealth Management is seeking a detail-oriented intern to support our Platform team with financial account data management and system integration projects.

This internship is ideal for students interested in finance, fintech, or operations who want exposure to how advisory firms manage investment account data and portfolio reporting systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Review accounts appearing in Mutual Evolve’s Orion database that are not feeding properly or are not correctly linked to MWM’s Orion database

  • Assist in creating or updating “shell accounts” to properly match accounts between systems

  • Research discrepancies and help coordinate data feed updates with Orion

  • Support internal data accuracy initiatives that impact both Platform and Compliance teams

If additional capacity allows, interns may assist with:

  • Data clean-up and synchronization projects

  • Reviewing account records for completeness and consistency

What We’re Looking For

  • Current undergraduate student pursuing Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field

  • Basic Excel or data management skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Analytical and logical problem-solving ability

  • Interest in financial systems and operations
