  • Status (Full time/part time/contract/Internship) : Internship (6 months) 

YOUR ROLE AS A : 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Company Secretarial Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. This role offers a deep dive into the world of corporate governance, compliance, and board-level administration. You will work closely with our qualified Company Secretaries to ensure our entities remain compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements.

During your internship, you will be mentored and given-hands on experience in:  

  • Statutory Compliance: Assisting with the preparation and filing of annual returns and other statutory forms related to company regulatory.

  • Meeting Support: Helping coordinate Board and Shareholder meetings, including drafting agendas, compiling board packs, and attending to take preliminary minutes.

  • Database Management: Maintaining and updating the company’s statutory registers with internal database management.

  • Document Drafting: Preparing standard resolutions for routine matters such as changes in directors, bank signatories, or registered office addresses.

  • Corporate Governance: Assisting in the research of new regulatory updates or changes in local Companies Acts to ensure the firm stays ahead of the curve.

  • Administrative Support: Managing physical and digital corporate records, ensuring all legal documents are properly executed and archived.

Qualification Skills: 

  • Educational Background: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate in Law, Corporate Governance, or Business Administration.

  • Attention to Detail: You’re the type of person who is able to spot a typo in a contract 

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills (other languages are a plus!).

  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Work

  • Integrity: Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion
