Overview

Interested in cybersecurity and cloud technologies? Join the DVAS team and gain hands-on experience working on real-world vulnerability assessment and security challenges.

Device Vulnerability Assessment Service (DVAS) is part of the TrendAI™ Vision One platform, helping organizations identify highly exploitable vulnerabilities across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments. As a DVAS intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers and gain practical experience with vulnerability assessment technologies, cybersecurity practices, and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.

Learning & Mentorship

You will work closely with experienced engineers who will mentor and guide you throughout the internship. This program is designed to help you develop practical skills in cybersecurity, vulnerability assessment, and cloud technologies while collaborating in a professional engineering environment.

What You’ll Work On

As a DVAS intern, you will support different stages of the product development and testing process, including:

  • Setting up environments to simulate vulnerability assessment scenarios

  • Exploring the use of AI to assist in generating scripts for data collection

  • Supporting security testing and validation workflows

  • Assisting engineers in testing product support across Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms

Through these activities, you will gain practical experience working with cybersecurity technologies and real engineering environments.

Program Timeline & Career Path

We offer a long-term internship (6 months – 1 year) with a flexible and customizable development plan designed to support your growth. The duration may vary depending on individual performance and project needs. High-performing interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities, subject to performance and business needs.

Qualifications

  • Third-year students or above in computer science, engineering, or related technical fields

  • Basic Python programming knowledge

  • Experience with virtual machines and network environment setup

  • Basic networking knowledge (e.g., IP, routing, network segmentation)

  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated problem solver

  • Available at least 2.5 days per week, including 1 day onsite

Nice to Have

  • Experience with vSphere or GNS3

  • Familiarity with network devices such as routers and firewalls
