Bachelor thesis in the field of innovation with a focus on AI / data science at the Blieskastel location

Topic: “Data Science / AI analysis of home consumption data”

You will investigate real-life home consumption data with the means of data science and AI. The datasets include detailed information about electricity consumption, as well as smart home devices.

Your responsibilities:

• Understanding the functional requirements and the ecosystem that provides the data
• Exploring and preparing data, producing a summaries of datasets
• Identification of relevant and feasible use cases based on the data
• Development of proof of concepts for the use cases
• Implementation of AI based analysis tools

Your profile: 

• Interest in topics concerning energy, curiosity and creativity
• Data science and AI: Python usual stacks for data science, machine and deep learning
• Technical understanding: foundations in natural sciences or engineering would be a plus
• Fluent in English
