The Role

Are you ready to launch your career at the intersection of cybersecurity, cloud, and AI with a global technology leader? As a CIO Cybersecurity Intern at Kyndryl, you’ll help protect and modernize our internal systems while learning how a world-class IT organization operates from the inside.

Who You Are

You’re a curious, early career technologist who’s excited to learn how cybersecurity, cloud, data, and AI come together in a modern enterprise environment. You may not be an expert yet—but you’re eager to dive in, experiment with new tools, and grow quickly in a supportive global team.

You might be a great fit if you:

• Are pursuing a degree (or similar experience) in cybersecurity, computer science, data science, IT, engineering, or a related field

• Have foundational knowledge in areas such as networking, operating systems, cloud platforms, scripting, or data analysis

• Are intrigued by how AI and automation are reshaping cybersecurity, from identity management to risk detection to modern network architecture

• Enjoy working with data, building dashboards, identifying trends, or learning how AI- powered tools can support decision making

• Communicate clearly and enjoy simplifying technical concepts for others, especially as we work to reduce human cyber risk through education and awareness

• Bring a growth mindset: you’re open to learning new technologies (including AI-tools and low-code platforms), you seek feedback, and you’re energized by solving problems in new ways

• Value inclusion, collaboration, and the idea that innovation happens best when diverse perspectives come together

Program Overview

As an intern, you will spend 10–12 weeks working on challenging, high-visibility projects. This position is primarily hybrid.
