About the Role
ARES has an exciting opportunity for a software engineering intern focused on development for variety of web-based software applications. This individual will work with the software development team using agile principles to build components that meet customer requirements. They will be encouraged to propose innovative ideas, develop creative solutions, and support continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in software development.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
  • Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Basic understanding of web technologies, including HTTP, RESTful web services, cross-browser compatibility, cookies, etc...
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
