About the Role

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Studio Operations Intern to join us for Summer 2026! This is a great opportunity for a current college student looking to gain experience in a fast-paced work environment while learning from our experienced team. 


This intern will provide a variety of support to NESN’s Studio Operations department, including but not limited to maintaining the studio areas for Watertown and Fenway Park.


This is an onsite internship in Watertown, MA paying $15/hour.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily studio set up and preparation
  • Assist NESN Nation workflow of ingesting and management of assets
  • May operate equipment for NESN Nation FAST channel and manage commercial breaks
  • Assist in studio with stage manager and with talent and guests
  • Assist in mic and IFB checks
  • Equipment testing and faxing
  • Supporting other Operations department efforts, as necessary


Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled as a student in a College or University
  • Available and willing to work night and weekend shifts
  • Ability to be successful working in a fast paced, loosely structured environment
  • Should have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision, but also able to work effectively within a team environment
  • Pursuing a degree in Audio or a related field is preferred
