About the Role

Purpose

  • We are seeking a Legal Intern to support the Employment and Data Privacy Legal Counsel based in Monaco.
    This internship offers hands‑on exposure to employment law and personal data protection matters within an international corporate environment, working closely with Human Resources, the Data Privacy Office and IT teams.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Employment & Data Privacy Legal Counsel / Monaco Data Privacy Officer (DPO), the intern will be involved in the following activities:

  • Assist with employment law matters under Monaco and French law (individual employment issues, HR legal support)
  • Support the drafting, review and update of employment‑related documentation, including:
    • Legal correspondence
    • Contractual documents
    • Internal HR and Legal policies
  • Contribute to data protection and privacy compliance alongside with Monaco DPO, including:
    • Review and maintenance of Privacy Notices
    • Support with records of processing activities and data mapping
    • Assistance in handling data subject rights requests
  • Carry out ad-hoc legal research on employment law and data protection regulations applicable in Monaco and France
  • Take part in the drafting of legal notes, summaries and internal presentations for HR and Management
  • Assist with the management of legal templates, trackers and document repositories
  • Support ad‑hoc labour law and Monaco data privacy assignments and HR initiatives

Education

  • Law student (Master level), ideally specialising in employment law or data protection
  • Strong interest in employment law and personal data protection
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
  • High level of discretion, confidentiality and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
