Internship Summary:

AJC is looking for a dynamic student interested in a summer internship focused on international business & logistics. The Operations Intern will work in our global headquarters, located in Atlanta, Georgia, and will report directly to the Regional Operations Manager of North America.  This is a great opportunity to start your career with an established company in the international food brokerage space. You will be exposed to our talented workforce and diverse company culture while having the opportunity to make an impact on our business working with all levels of our organization. 


Internship Responsibilities: 

  • Publishing & Revising Purchase orders in the system 
  • Receiving of product in our internal system 
  • Following up on product confirmation with suppliers 
  • Following up on scheduling orders with Operations team 
  • Categorizing Logistic Orders based on vessel statues and analyzing risks for each one of them 
  • Tentative AI project to automate our coordination capacity
  • Tracking containers for CHINA /PI/Central America
  • Updating LPBC related columns, sending truck inbound instructions to Cool Port, adding accruals when receiving invoices from Cool Port


Internship Duration:

  • May through August 2026.


Internship Requirements:

Skills:                

  • Must have attention to detail to accomplish tasks thoroughly and accurately.
  • Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and execute financial analyses.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation abilities.
  • Computer literacy and advanced Microsoft Office knowledge with Excel & Powerpoint proficiency.
  • Previous international experience or exposure is a plus.


Education:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.


Language:

  • Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently. Proficiency in Spanish or another second language is a plus.
