About the Role

Description

1. Utilize various resources including social media and criminal background checks to gather pertinent information in support of the investigations department.

2. Accurately transfer research findings to the Investigations database and document management system.

3. Scan and organize new assignments received from attorneys promptly and accurately, facilitating smooth processing and distribution within the team.

4. Precisely transcribe audio recordings and witness statements to maintain accurate records essential for investigations.

5. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned, actively contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the team's operations.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with attorneys and team members.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure, maintaining productivity while demonstrating attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and a strong work ethic.
  • Minimum requirement 15 hours per week.
  • Currently enrolled in or completed undergraduate studies, law school, or high school with a focus on pre-law, criminology, or related fields preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
  • Must live within a reasonable travel distance to the Pittsburgh Headquarters office.
