JOB DESCRIPTION: Therapist Intern (Graduate Level)

REPORTS TO: Clinical Director

PAY: $12.00


This position is located at Telos Mental Health, which is an IOP program that uses powerful clinical interventions, relationship-based treatment, and evidence-based protocols to assist our clients in making lasting change in their lives. IOP services occur during weekday afternoon/evening hours.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Runs groups, provides individual sessions, occasionally helps with family therapy.
  • Completes basic case management (e.g., insurance reviews, aftercare planning, etc.), program development, staff training, and being part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Chart and monitor progress
  • Participates in clinical meetings weekly
  • Completes special assignments as directed by his/her supervisor

Requirements

Requirements

  • In graduate school and eligible for internship
  • Professional documentation and charting skills
  • Experience in treating youth and young adults
  • Comfortable with team approach
  • Willingness to learn Telos systems and approach
  • Working knowledge of Family Systems Theory (preferred but not required) 
  • Special training in working with emotional dysregulation (preferred but not required)
