About the Role:

The Sales Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by engaging with potential clients and assisting in the promotion of our health benefit product. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience in the health and life insurance industry, focusing on understanding client needs and effectively communicating product benefits. The intern will contribute to lead generation, client follow-ups, and the preparation of sales materials, helping to drive overall sales performance. Through collaboration with experienced sales professionals, the intern will gain valuable insights into sales strategies, customer relationship management, and regulatory compliance. Ultimately, this role aims to develop foundational skills in health insurance sales while contributing to the company’s growth and customer satisfaction goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program, preferably in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or work experience in sales, insurance, or customer service.
  • Familiarity with health insurance products and terminology.
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in health insurance or financial services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team in identifying and qualifying potential clients through research and outreach.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of presentations and informational materials about health insurance products.
  • Engage with prospective clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to understand their insurance needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using CRM software.
