About the Role

Description

The Interior Design Intern will support the Interior Design team in all phases of project development. This role provides hands-on experience in conceptual design, material and finish selections, client presentation development, interior modeling, and comprehensive project documentation. The intern will contribute to creating design solutions that align with each client’s aesthetic vision, budget parameters, and project timelines.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of cohesive and aesthetically refined interior environments, including color palettes, material and finish selections, and coordination of architectural and interior elements
  • Support the preparation of client presentations that clearly communicate design concepts and specifications
  • Assist in producing and maintaining project documentation, including finish schedules, specification appendices, and technical drawings/models in Revit and/or SketchUp
  • Contribute to interior modeling and visualization efforts
  • Help maintain an organized and professional design library, including materials and sample storage
  • Effectively manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet time-sensitive deadlines



Requirements

Essential Qualifications:


  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Interior Design or related field preferred)
  • Submission of a design portfolio or relevant work samples
  • Basic proficiency in SketchUp
  • Basic proficiency in Revit
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
