In indirect tax at PwC, you will focus value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), sales tax and other indirect taxes. Job Description:

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing customs documentation and declarations to ensure compliance with Indonesian customs regulations.
  • Support the customs team in conducting research on customs duties, import/export regulations, and trade compliance issues.
  • Help monitor changes in customs laws and regulations, and assist in implementing updates for client advisories.
  • Assist in coordinating with clients and government authorities to resolve customs-related queries and issues.
  • Support the preparation of customs-related reports, filings, and internal documentation.
  • Provide administrative assistance for customs projects, audits, and training sessions, ensuring smooth workflow within the team.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Accounting, Taxation, International Trade, or related fields.
  • Interest in customs regulations, trade compliance, and tax administration.
  • Basic knowledge of Indonesian customs laws and import/export procedures is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to fast-paced work environments.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
