About the Role

Job Title:        Information Technology Intern

Reports To:    IT Support Engineer
SUMMARY
The Seattle Seahawks are seeking an expert candidate to serve as an intern in the Information
Technology department from the last week in June through February.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work with IT staff to respond to basic support requests
  • Assist with support of phone system, telephones and cell phones
  • Distribute new PC’s and laptops as part of annual computer refresh program
  • Assist with hardware inventory
  • Plan, design and implement special projects at the direction of IT Staff
  • Prepare documentation related to IT policies and procedures
  • Provide assistance with IT projects as needed
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be currently enrolled as a junior, senior or recent graduate (within 6 months) from a college or university. Graduate school students are eligible to apply as well
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work with people
  • Analytical, structured approach to problem solving
  • Detail oriented, organized
  • Strong writing skills and a desire to diligently document common processes and procedures
  • Committed to going “above and beyond” to serve the customer
  • Desire to gain experience as a computer service professional
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple projects/priorities
  • Availability to work standard support hours (M-F, 8:00 – 5:00) along with occasional after-hours and weekend support at both the Virginia Mason Athletic Center and Lumen Field Stadium

TIMEFRAME

  • This position works 30 hours per week on average

  • Have authorization to work in the United States
  • Be able to work 30 hours per week as well as gameday/nights, weekends and other various events

COMPENSATION
The hourly rate for this position is: $22.75.
