WHO YOU ARE:

We are seeking an Early Career Intern - NOC to oversee our telecommunication networks and computer systems. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the performance and capacity of our computer systems, troubleshooting problems, and responding to network issues. You may also be required to configure system hardware and manage system back-ups.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Monitoring the performance and capacity of network infrastructure, servers, routers, switches, and other devices.
• Performing regular checks on network hardware and software.
• Responding to alerts and hardware malfunctions for monitored systems.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting network and hardware errors. • Quickly address the critical alerts and follow up with respective teams till the resolution.
• Keep track of all unresolved incidents / tickets and follow up with different support teams until closer, within defined SLA.
• Tracking and documenting network issues and compiling incident reports.
• Performing deployment & patches on Tomcat & WebSphere environment.
• Managing network access control.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
• 0-1 year’s experience into IT network system.
• Good verbal & written communication skills
• Able to handle global customers.
• Strong ability to diagnose server or network alerts, events, or issues.
• Should be ready to work in 24X7 environments, rotating shift & rotating Weekly Offs.
• Monitoring devices/services, Networks, servers & storage using Nagios, Solar Winds or Zabbix monitoring tool.
• Preparing Dynamic report and PPT for presentation or Weekly meeting.
• Conversion related activities such as Extraction, Deletion, Office duplication, Migration, Office Creation & FTP account creation using specialized tools.
• Taking backup of client data.
