About The Company
When you’re faced with critical business decisions, our expertise and creative solutions will help you find the right path. Fast.
About the Role

Interpath Advisory is a financial advisory business built on agility and independence. We exist to help our clients navigate their most difficult challenges and seize transformational opportunities. Since our transition from KPMG in 2021, we have grown into the UK’s largest independent restructuring team, expanding globally and diversifying across deal advisory, M&A, and transaction services.

At Interpath, our culture is defined by our four core values:

  • Do the right thing: We make the right decisions, not just the easy ones.
  • All hands on deck: We stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our colleagues and clients.
  • Passion drives success: We believe the impossible is always possible.
  • Embrace different: From cultures to mindsets, we welcome all perspectives.

As a Intern Analyst in the Contentious Insolvency team, you will have the unique opportunity to engage in high-stakes situations where financial restructuring intersects with legal disputes. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in managing contentious insolvency cases, working closely with both financial and legal professionals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the management of contentious insolvency matters, including assessments of shareholder disputes, fraudulent conveyances, and misfeasance claims.
  • Conducting thorough research and analysis to inform case strategy and evaluating the implications of financial and legal data.
  • Assisting in the preparation of documentation and presentations for client meetings and court proceedings.
  • Collaborating with senior teams to develop insights that guide our clients through complex insolvency processes.
  • Engaging with various stakeholders, including clients, legal counsel, and creditors, to facilitate effective communication and resolution.
  • Staying abreast of regulatory changes and legal developments impacting contentious insolvency.

This role is designed for individuals looking to gain a foothold in the finance and legal sectors while working within a supportive and challenging environment.

Your Growth and Development

We are committed to helping you flourish. At Interpath, you will:

  • Be Supported: Work day-to-day with your local teams while also having access to national expertise across the firm. You will have direct access to our senior leaders including the ability to participate in our Allyship and Mentorship programmes.
  • Expand Your Expertise: Gain exposure to high-profile projects across diverse sectors, helping you build a long-lasting and meaningful career.
  • Be Valued for Who You Are: We look beyond just staff grades. We value your unique technical background, your ability to work in a team and your potential to help us. #MakeExtraordinaryHappen.
  • Academic: Currently pursuing a degree, on track to graduate Summer 2027 with a predicted minimum grade of 2:1.
  • Holistic Review: We look at more than just academic results. We review technical, written, and cultural aspects of your application to ensure you have the best opportunity to demonstrate your fit and realise your full potential.
  • Success Metrics: We consider your unique strengths, technical background, and achievements to ensure you have the right skills to succeed.

Our commitment to inclusion:

At Interpath, we know everyone is equal, but not the same. We aim to draw on the brightest minds from the broadest range of backgrounds to bring diverse perspectives to our clients. We are proud of our internal Inclusion Committee and our seven Employee Network Groups (including our Gender Equity Network and Young Professionals Network), which provide a safe space for education, understanding, and positive change. Interpath also offers every employee six dedicated volunteering days each year, enabling meaningful contributions to corporate social responsibility initiatives, local community projects, and fundraising efforts.

Applications for our internship role will close on a rolling basis when we have enough applications. We therefore advise that you apply as soon as possible so that you don’t miss out on securing a role.

Please outline in your cover letter why the Internship opportunity is of interest to you.

The internship will start on Monday, June 15th, 2026 and will continue until Friday, August 14th, 2026.
