Manufacturing Engineer Internship

Location: Johnson Creek, WI

Employment Type: 1st shift full time during the summer months

We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join our Engineering team for the summer. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced CNC manufacturing environment, where you will support day-to-day engineering activities and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.

As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will work closely with the Engineering team on machine changeovers, fixture builds, cell builds, and robotic applications, gaining real-world exposure to CNC machining operations and manufacturing processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with machine changeovers, fixture builds, cell builds, and robotic tasks.
  • Support the Engineering department in maintaining efficient and reliable CNC cell operations.
  • Participate in the development, improvement, and implementation of manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct research and data analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project completion and production goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining operations.
  • Familiarity with machine changeovers, fixture builds, cell builds, and robotics.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
