Junior Operations Analysis Co-Op/Intern

LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FL

JOB STATUS: Full-time
CLEARANCE: Secret

CERTIFICATION: n/a

TRAVEL: 10%

 

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for Junior Operations Analysis Co-Op/Intern, under the TENANTS contract supporting the 28th Test and Evaluation Squadron, located at Eglin AFB, FL.

 

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

 

  • Must be enrolled one or more years in a Bachelor’s degree program pursuing a STEM degree (engineering preferred).
  • *Able to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)*
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately
  • Strong computer skills. The applicant should be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel,  Word, and PowerPoint applications
  • Applicant should have good communication, technical writing, and organizational skills, as well as be able to work independently with guidance.
  • Must present knowledgeable and professional appearance to the government client
  • Requires punctuality for scheduled duty hours


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

 

  • Studies in Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Systems Engineering highly desired

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Individual will work at Eglin AFB, FL and will use acquired educational background in one or more disciplines to assist technical staff designing, executing, analyzing, and reporting on various operational tests
  • Supports technical engineering activities, requirements analysis, analysis of alternatives, technical risk assessments, modeling and information technology, test and evaluation, verification, and lifecycle support
  • Travel to support testing and evaluation of systems may be required
  • For second and subsequent work periods, individual is expected to perform increasingly more complex tasks commensurate with increasing educational accomplishments
