In the Southeast Region, you’ll gain hands-on experience through internships in civil, building, and estimating — contributing to real projects that drive progress across Miami, West Palm Beach, Vero Beach, and Fort Myers.
Our internships are designed to be a pathway to full-time careers. Top-performing interns will be considered for Field Engineer roles upon completion of their internship, starting after graduation.

Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Field Engineer Intern – Civil (Miami, WPB and Fort Myers)
- Support daily site operations alongside Project Managers, Supers, and Engineers
- Inspect materials, manage deliveries, and ensure quality/compliance
- Update schedules, RFIs, cost tracking, and documentation
- Participate in safety walk-throughs and uphold OHLA protocols
- Gain exposure to roadway design, traffic control, and paving
Field Engineer Intern – Building (Miami only)
- Support daily field operations on vertical building projects (e.g., healthcare, education, residential facilities)
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, manage deliveries, and oversee quality/compliance
- Assist with schedule updates, submittals, RFIs, and documentation
- Participate in safety protocols relevant to building construction environments
- Gain exposure to general contracting and design-build processes
Estimating Intern (based in Miami, supporting SE region)
- Assist with bid prep, take-offs, and cost analysis across civil and building scopes
- Review drawings/specifications and organize vendor quotes
- Support historical cost tracking, bid summaries, and DOT/platform submissions
- Gain exposure to estimating software and industry standards
Qualifications
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Eager, proactive, driven—a self-starter ready to dive in
- Organized and communicative, with strong time-management skills
- Interested in a long-term career in estimating, heavy civil or building construction
- Familiar with construction terminology? Great. If not, no stress—we’ll teach you.
- IMPORTANT: Eligibility -> incoming juniors, seniors and spring graduates.
