POSITION SUMMARY

eX² Technology is seeking a Finance Intern to support our Finance department by performing administrative and analytical tasks like data entry, report generation, budge assistance and financial statement preparation to join our team. As a Finance Intern, you will use Excel for data analysis, assist with accounts payable and receivable and contribute to financial modeling or forecasting.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Input financial data into accounting systems, maintain financial databases and ensure accurate, real-time financial data

    Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, as well as generating and analyzing various reports for the leadership team

    Support the creation and tracking of budgets, forecasts and long-term financial plans 

    Assist with the processing of invoices, collecting receipts and managing payments and customer accounts

    Complete ad hoc projects assigned by the finance team, which may include market research, cost analysis, or supporting audit preparations


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

    Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field


Experience

    Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP and other financial functions

    Understanding of basic accounting and financial principles, such as budgeting, forecasting and financial statements

    Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends and generate insights


Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

    Excellent attention to detail

    Strong organizational skills

    Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

    Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects coupled with experience in working with fast-paced finance department

    Strong communication skills

    Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

    High integrity and work ethic
