About the Role

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern - Oxygen.

 

The hourly rate for this position is $20.77-$25.96 per hour.

What you’ll do:

Eaton Mission Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to work with our dynamic team in a fast-paced, aerospace and defense manufacturing environment at our growing Davenport, Iowa facility. Eaton’s internship program offers real world experience and mentoring through a variety of activities and assignments.  Pay is calculated by your college status.

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Work on integrated product teams to improve manufacturing processes and procedures.
•    Participate in capacity improvement, cost-out and/or lean manufacturing projects, analyzing proposed improvements and implementing change.
•    Update work instructions and procedures to improve the manufacturing process.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
•    Junior/Senior status with a major in Engineering or BS technical degree (STEM) at an accredited institution.

•    Relocation is not offered for this position. Must reside within 70 miles of Davenport, Iowa. 

•    Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.

•    This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Preferred Qualifications:
•    Junior/Senior standing towards Bachelor’s Degree in ABET accredited
•    Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering program
•    Prior related internship or work experience
•    Hands on experience with aircraft or aircraft systems.

•    Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
