About the Role
Overview

MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking a passionate Architecture Student Intern to start immediately and extend into the summer with our Consumer Experiences (CX) Market team in New York City, NY!

 

This is more than just an internship, it’s your chance to dive into the fast-paced world of retail and food & beverage design. At MG2, you’ll dive into real-world projects that anticipate lifestyle shifts and shape the way people connect with brands.


We’re looking for someone detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn, ready to roll up their sleeves and contribute to impactful, real-world projects alongside a team of passionate designers.


As an Architecture Student Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the production and coordination of construction documents, while also building a strong foundation in the professional practice of architecture. You’ll work side-by-side with experienced architects in a collaborative, supportive environment that values creativity, detail, and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in document preparation.
  • Gather and generate data for projects.
  • Perform research and development for projects.
  • Assist team with clerical needs, such as archiving and document distribution and tracking.
  • Assist with other project tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master of Architecture, or a degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Exhibits MG2 Practice Values of Integrated Approach, Design Excellence, Social Responsibility, Leadership, and Results.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: $20.00 to $29.00 per hour (depending on qualifications)
