Job Description Summary
The Integrated Manufacturing Engineering Configurations Engineer is responsible is for the new-make manufacturing of Configurations hardware focused on assigned objectives related to delivery. Activities contributing to improve part producibility, reduce losses and build supplier relationships also include actions linked to technical improvement of existing products and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support with guidance the evaluation and disposition of non-conformances to develop engineering judgement on producibility related issues.
- Work design, analysis, and/or evaluation of assigned projects with guidance using sound engineering principles, adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
- Provide timely communication on significant issues to key stakeholders.
- Use Lean tools to improve assigned projects.
- Support the team on development of Lean tools.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline with guidance.
- Develop understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
- Use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
Qualification Requirements
- Student from an accredited university or college in Mechanical, Aerospace, or closely related field of Engineering with at least 1 year to graduate .
- English skills: Must be able to maintain a simple conversation in English.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and accurately.
- Ability in managing own projects.
- Problem-solving skills with guidance.
