2026 Summer Internship Program - Technology (Full Stack Development)

Piper Sandler is currently seeking interns for Summer 2026 in our Technology Business Line.  These individuals will work directly with our Development team in Minneapolis, MN.  Our human capital, technology, marketing and other corporate support teams work with our business partners to maximize each employee. Responsibilities:

• Project Management

• Software Development

• Assist with quality assurance, code logic, data processing, system design, and disaster recovery/resiliency

• Review and analyze existing Integrations’ effectiveness and efficiency, and develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.

• Test new or changed integration software programs

• Learn, contribute to, and enforce functional policies, procedures, and best practices

• End user trouble shooting and support

• Spreadsheet maintenance and data reporting

Requirements:

• Majoring in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or another quantitative field preferred.

• Knowledge of and/or proficiency with development languages such as C#, ASPX, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, Python, SQL, CosmosDB/NoSQL, Oracle

• Knowledge of and/or proficiency with Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio Pro, Github and/or DevOps, and Office365 products.

• Knowledge of development platforms including web servers, application servers, and server farms

• Familiar with Cloud platforms: Azure, GCP

• Knowledge of Version Control, Git, would be a plus

• Excellent oral, written communication and problem-solving skills

• Strong analytical ability

• Detail oriented

• This internship is open to undergraduate or graduate students who graduate in December 2026 or Spring 2027 and have a GPA of 3.3 or above.

The anticipated pay rate for individuals expressing interest in this position is $21 per hour.
