Are you ready to make an impact? If you’re looking for an internship that gives you hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, high‑impact technology environment—especially one at the forefront of cybersecurity—you’re in the right place.

From product innovation to data science, marketing, engineering, and beyond—you’ll work on real projects, solve real problems, and contribute to meaningful work that supports our mission.

As a Yield Analytics Intern, you’ll help the team understand how our models and signals perform across key business metrics like conversion, approvals, default and yield, and where we can optimize performance.

What You’ll Do

Offline Performance Analysis of Engine Models

  • Conduct score band analysis and performance segmentation.
  • Evaluate model stability and performance consistency across cohorts.

Third‑Party Data Overlay & Signal Evaluation

  • Integrate external data attributes into offline datasets.
  • Assess signal strength and incremental predictive value.
  • Identify which signals provide the strongest delineation between high‑ and low‑performing cohorts.
  • Support feature performance comparisons using statistical and business‑impact frameworks.

Yield Reporting Framework Development

  • Build structured reporting views in SQL/Looker (or similar BI tools).
  • Create reusable dashboards that:
    • Segment performance by score band
    • Compare internal vs. external signals
    • Highlight incremental lift
    • Identify optimization opportunities
  • Document methodology and metric definitions.

Analytics Framework & Documentation

  • Partner with Product Analytics to align on standardized evaluation frameworks.
  • Create documentation outlining:
    • Data sources
    • Methodology for signal comparison
    • Definitions of performance metrics
    • Guidelines for future model evaluation

Who You Are

  • A current undergraduate or graduate student (rising junior/senior preferred) in Data Science, Statistics/Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics/Finance, Applied Mathematics or a related field.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a dynamic, fast‑paced high‑tech environment.
  • A self‑starter who’s not afraid to try innovative ideas and learn by doing.
  • A visionary thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for leveraging data to drive decision making.

Skills

  • Analytics background: Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data findings into business recommendations.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, particularly in explaining technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large, structured datasets.
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker (or Tableau/Power BI) for reporting and dashboard development.
  • Understanding of statistical concepts including regression, classification, lift analysis, AUC/ROC, and segmentation.
