Main purpose of the Fabric R&D Intern role:

Assisting R&D Team with ongoing projects to learn how department is run, building technical nowledfe of fabrics/textiles.

Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • 75% Library organization (FABRIC AND TRIM)
  • 5% Building fabric reference boards for cross functional teams
  • 5% Filing headers into binders (pre-buy)
  • 5% Updating fabric line guides 
  • 5% Help maintain past production binders
  • 5% Google drive maintenance

Required Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

    • Interests in textiles
    • Interest in the business/development side of fashion program 
    • ability to speak confidently 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Actively in school or just finished design/art school program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Can tell difference between a knit and a woven fabric 
  • Proficient with excel or google sheets

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.


A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range is $18.50/hr to $18.50/hr.
