The Quality Systems team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Product Stewardship Group in San Jose, CA for Summer 2026. This role supports continuous‑improvement initiatives related to responsible mineral sourcing within ADI’s global supply chain. Interns will gain hands‑on experience working with regulatory data, sustainability programs, and cross‑functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Support review of responsible minerals within electronics & semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Maintain and improve existing processes for evaluating components and materials against responsible‑minerals due‑diligence requirements.
  • Support in developing and maintaining technical knowledge-base libraries.
  • Collect, clean, and organize large datasets related to supplier sustainability attributes for internal reporting.
  • Assist in maintaining due‑diligence tracking tools and digital platforms.
  • Provide analytical project support across responsible sourcing initiatives.
  • Bring curiosity and a solutions‑focused mindset to identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvement.


Minimum qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge of chemical substances, nomenclature, and compounds.
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Teams, Power BI, SharePoint).
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Engineering, Natural Resources, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and data‑analysis tools.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by contributing to evolving processes.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and adaptable in environments where workflows are still being developed.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $25 to $46.
